Home Remedy for Cold Sores Using Ice

INGREDIENTS:

ice

INSTRUCTIONS:

I never thought about it, but it has been suggested that ice works. I believe it now. I can usually catch the cold sore before it breaks out and begin the ritual of putting anything on it that I can find in the house. This time it must have started while I was sleeping because I woke up with nasty little blisters on my lip. I applied ice for 15 minutes every hour for 2 days. The first day it did not spread. The second day the swelling started to go down and by the end of the third day it was just about gone. I will take 3 days as apposed to 2 weeks any time.

Cold Remedy | Drink Remedy

1 1/4 inch slice of onion

2 cloves of garlic crushed

1 or 2 tablespoons of honey

1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper or 1/4 slice of one jalapeno pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

Take the 1/4 inch of the sliced onion and mince finely. Take the garlic which is crushed and also mince it finely. Put in a small bowl. Add the one or two tablespoons of honey ( Do not use refined sugar of any kind) and the crushed red or jalapeno pepper and stir the mixture together. Take one to two teaspoons before retiring. Cold will be gone in two or three days. The onion opens up the sinus passages. The garlic is a blood cleanser. The honey helps with a sore throat and the hot pepper has capcian which has been shown to help kill viruses in the body.

Natural Home Remedy for Colds

INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons flour

1 tsp. dry mustard

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1 ounce hot water

INSTRUCTIONS:

This remedy is older than computers. It does work. One catch, it doesn’t smell too pleasant. Mix dry ingredients into a bowl, add water in small amounts to make a thick paste. Fold a terrycloth hand towel in half. Spread the paste across the towel. Fold in half and apply to chest. Don’t let the paste touch your skin, it will burn. Leave it on overnight or for just 30 minutes before bed. Do this for three consecutive nights and you’ll notice a difference. It really does work!
